The Savings Build the Nation Awards, now in its 10th year, returns as Thailand’s largest animation competition under the theme “Financial Literacy: Nothing Beats Being Financially Aware…”. This national contest highlights the importance of financial education, savings awareness, and smart investment knowledge through creativity and storytelling. On October 17, 2025, the Auditorium Room of the Software Park Thailand Building hosted the award ceremony, showcasing the top talents from across the competition. Out of 218 participating teams, 18 finalists competed for the Winner title in the final round.

Organized by WMSL (the developer of WealthMagik.com), in collaboration with Software Park Thailand, the contest continues to inspire students and the public to turn complex financial topics into engaging animated content. The partners of this project include the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), the Thai Animation & Computer Graphics Association (TACGA), and the Thai Bond Market Association (ThaiBMA).
This year’s contest initiative addressed a key challenge: while surveys show Thais are improving in financial behavior, many still lack proper financial planning, savings habits, and awareness of risks such as fraud and debt traps. The project sought to change that by encouraging participants to learn and share practical knowledge that could strengthen financial resilience nationwide.
Contestants worked with 10 key themes, including fraud prevention, tax planning, debt management, savings and investment strategies, insurance, inflation risks, financial tools and apps, retirement planning, and DCA investing.

Contest Categories
Contestants competed in two main categories. The Short Animation Development category featured entries no longer than 3 minutes and was divided into three subcategories: Student (elementary, secondary, or vocational certificate levels), University Student (higher vocational diploma, bachelor’s, or master’s degree levels), and the General Public (open to all regardless of age, gender, education, or occupation).
Another category was the TikTok Animation Content, where participants created three short clips per topic, each lasting no more than one minute. This open format allowed creators to share financial knowledge in a way that resonated with today’s audiences.

The panel of judges in the final round included the Deputy Managing Director of WealthMagik Securities, Mr. Jirasak Tonwongwal; the Deputy Managing Director of Vithita Animation, and also a committee member of TACGA, Mr. Santi Laohaburanakit; and Acting Vice President, Science and Technology Infrastructure Services and the Director of Software Park Thailand, Dr. Pattravadee Ploykitikoon.
By blending financial education with digital creativity, the project continues to serve as a national platform for spreading financial literacy and preparing Thais for a more stable financial future.
Last May, selected participants took part in a comprehensive online Boot Camp that offered training and mentorship from professionals in both the animation and finance industries. The program helped participants refine their animation skills while deepening their understanding of financial literacy.
